Before I forget

Before I forget this moment...

Of course we had a blast at our cousin, Connor's, 5th bday party with a huge water slide, moon bounce, water balloons, and water guns...

But it was later on in the evening that was a great memory. We were out with the neighbors as usual- Blue was being the "daddy" as he pushed the stroller up and down the street and Sophia was the "mommy" of course. The husband decided to grab a beer up at the bar with a fellow neighbor dad- no big deal, lil Clayton was already down and I just had to keep my eye on my lil' lover boy (hot for Sophia)...Until the power went out! It was completely dark at this point. I think it was around 9:30. Ben's mom brought out glowsticks and soooo much fun was had by all!!! Unfortaunately we had to call the husbands to come back home to help navigate thru the dark house and put Blue down without his fan or fish light.

Handsome

On our way to my end of the school year party at Michele Delaney's house, Blue kept asking if he looked handsome. See, Michele has a little daughter who is now 12 years old, that Blue just adores. Of course we combed his hair before the party and the entire ride up to HArford county to the pool party, he kept asking if his hair was okay and if he looked handsome. Then as we pulled up to the party, he was so excited, that he said he was going to kiss Michele's daughter, Megan! Lover Boy!

Rube on the other hand was only concerned with eating pretzels and cheese puffs the entire party!

Ultimate Big Brother

I took the boys to The Ultimate Playzone today for "open play" 10 -11ish till I got so very tired of helping little Clayton here and there. The Ultimate Playzone is a place with about 10 moon boucers and a Pirateship, little house, and so forth. Blue was the ultimate big brother. So many times he help little Clayton "up and over" things or watch over him so no one would hurt him. Good times:)

The Best in the World

So I thought I better write this one down, but since I don't keep a baby book for my boys, today I will start a blog!

Blue woke up this morning and told me and Clayton we were the best mom and dad in the world. And that Rube was the best Rube in the world and that he loved us soooo much! Without being prompted! This may be from his awesome 4th Birthday weekend- we went to oc involved the beach, an arcade, the boardwalk, rides, visiting Bubbie, Poppy, Granny, PopPop, DiDi, and Grandma Hoppe, and a Batman bike from PopPop and Didi, and a pool party with his neighborhood friends and a superman cake!

Blue went swimming with MomMom for 2 1/2 hours today so needless to say he was already asleep when he got home @ 6:30 this evening- exhausted! So I got to spend some rare one on one time with little Clayton! We read books and giggled a lot: ) Good Times.
